Syncing and Exporting Data

How to refresh and update post data

Use this guide to refresh your post data when you want to pull new comments or re-analyze existing posts.

Refresh posts from the post table

To update a post with fresh comment data:

  1. Open the Table View from the top right of your dashboard

  2. Check the box next to each post you want to refresh

  3. Click Sync in the action menu

The posts will re-process and update with new comment data.

Refresh all posts in a campaign

To refresh every post in a campaign at once:

  1. Select the campaign from the top navigation

  2. Open the post table

  3. Use the header checkbox to select all posts

  4. Click Resync in the action menu

Refresh frequency by plan

All refreshes run manually using the workflows above. Your plan determines how often you can refresh posts without using additional credits:

  • Enterprise— Refresh any post once every24 hours at no credit cost

  • Powerhouse— Refresh any post once every 24 hours at no credit cost

  • Growth— Refresh any post once every7 days at no credit cost

  • Agile— No included refresh cadence. Each refresh draws from your credits (MAPs or ad hoc)

A post can only be resynced once every 30 minutes. If you need to refresh more frequently, wait before trying again.

What happens when you refresh

When you refresh a post:

  • Siftsy pulls the latest comments from the platform

  • Comment counts and engagement metrics update

  • The Siftsy Score recalculates based on all current comments

  • Themes and sentiment breakdowns update to reflect the latest data

Check the Score Over Time chart in Content Metrics to see how a post's score has changed across refreshes.

What's next

After refreshing, view your updated analysis in How to start analyzing comments, or export your findings in How to export an analysis.
