How to explore and search the comments
Use this guide to dig deeper into the comments. You can search by keyword, use shortcuts and filters, select a trending topic, or click into specific themes.
Explore comments using the search field
In the Explore card above the Insights card, type a topic, phrase or keyword into the search field, or select from one of the following options:
Type "/" for Shortcuts – filter by Sentiment, Relevance, or any of the following search types:
Keyword/Mention
Question
Criticism Towards Creator
Support Towards Creator
Awareness
Category Support
Conversion
Evaluation
Feedback
Filters – set persistent comment filters for:
Sentiment
Relevance
Comment Types
Keywords
Usernames
After you type a topic, phrase or keyword, click Search
A new insights tab will appear below the Explore card with its own Insights card, showing the context, search term, and metrics for the narrowed set of comments.
Explore comments from the Insights card
Under the certain sections in the Insights card, look for search icons next to themes or topics identified in the comments
Click the search icon to explore further
A new analysis tab will be created for the searched theme or topic, with its own insights and metrics.
Search history
Your recent searches and filter views are saved automatically. To jump back into a previous view:
Open the Explore card
Click the search history dropdown
Select a saved search from the list
A new tab will open with the same filters and search context you used before.
Highlight text to search
You can highlight any word or phrase in a summary or comment to search it instantly.
In the Summary or Insights card, highlight the text you want to explore
Click the Search for [term] prompt that appears
A new analysis tab will open with the highlighted term as the search context.
